Panagia Chrysovenetiotissa

This small and isolated medieval country chapel is located in the countryside of Polis Chrysochous in the Paphos district and is dedicated to Panagia the Chrysovenetiotissa. The stone structure preserves elements of Byzantine church building with a plain structure that harmonises fully with the natural environment of the area. Owing to its limited interior space, it functions mainly as a quiet station for individual prayer and the lighting of candles, offering an atmosphere of serenity and historic contemplation to pilgrims.
