Panagia Galaktotrofousa

In the south-eastern part of the traditional core of the village of Apsiou lies the church of Panagia Galaktotrofousa. This historic structure follows the characteristic local type of the single-aisled church with a wooden roof and clay tiles. Its exterior walls are made of hard, unworked stone with strong pointing, while the edifice has very few openings for light, maintaining a contemplative atmosphere.
