Panagia Pallouriotissa

This small stone-built country chapel is found to the north-east of the community, in the direction towards occupied Pyroi, within the dead zone. It is a plain vaulted church with limited interior dimensions and a single narrow window in its semicircular apse. Its characteristic name is thought to come from the plant palloura (Christ's thorn), which thrives in large quantities in the Cypriot countryside.
