Panagia Pantanassa

This majestic parish church is located in the centre of Paphos, very close to Kennedy Square, and is dedicated to Panagia the Pantanassa. The imposing edifice began to be built in the middle of the 20th century to meet the needs of the constantly developing urban parish. It stands out for its cross-in-square style with a large dome and is one of the central spiritual landmarks of the town, hosting daily crowds of faithful and official religious ceremonies.
