Panagia Pyrgotissa

This is the main and impressive church of the community, which began to be built in the late 19th century with the voluntary personal labour of dozens of inhabitants. The church is built with very deep foundations and stands out for its stone-built exterior with beautiful arches and decorative reliefs of angels. Inside it, a valuable old wooden iconostasis is preserved, as well as a renovated amphitheatrical women's gallery that offers an excellent view towards the main church.
