Panagia Semistrelia

This is a historic, stone-built little church dedicated to Panagia the 'Eptaspathi' (Semistrelia, of the seven swords), hidden within the green of the community of Alethriko. It is a place of calm and prayer, which gathers faithful for the distinctive icon of the Virgin Mary holding seven swords, while the surrounding landscape offers a sense of serenity, ideal for sacraments.
