Prophet Elias

The picturesque chapel of the Prophet Elias rises upon a lush green rise of Evrychou, offering an impressive and boundless view towards the valley of Solea and the Troodos mountain range. Its construction began in the mid-1980s on the initiative of the Metropolis of Morphou and was fully completed with its inauguration in 2003. Next to this stone-built little church a modern, organised community viewpoint has been arranged, ideal for the rest of travellers.
