Romaiokatholiki Church of Saint Elizabeth of Ouggarias

This church is located in the occupied town of Kyrenia, very close to the historic harbour and across from the Dome hotel. It was built in the early 20th century by the then British district commissioner of the town and is one of the very few functioning Catholic churches in the northern part of the island. Today the church has been extended to meet the needs of the faithful, hosting every Sunday a multicultural community of foreign workers, students and tourists.
