Saint Barbara

The Holy Church of Saint Barbara is the central parish church of the borderland and mountainous village of Kampos in Tsakkistra, nestled in the mountain range of Kykkos. The structure follows the type of the three-aisled basilica, constructed of local stone of the area and covered by a tiled roof that harmonizes with the forest landscape. Its interior is adorned with an elaborate wood-carved iconostasis and rare icons, forming the main spiritual core of the community.
