Saint Charalambos

In the western part of the mountainous village of Kato Drys dominates the main church of the community, which is dedicated to its protector, Saint Charalambos. In the past, at the same spot there was an old church of Byzantine architecture, which however collapsed with the passage of time. In its place, in 1897, the residents erected the present structure, which is an elegant, single-aisled church with a vault.
