Saint Demetrios

This modern parish church is located in the urban district of Mouttalos, within the boundaries of the Municipality of Paphos, and is dedicated to the Holy Great Martyr Demetrios. Its construction was completed in the early 21st century, while its official inauguration was celebrated with every solemnity in February 2003 by representatives of the Metropolis of Paphos. The church serves as the main worship and spiritual core for the refugee community of the area, gathering crowds of the faithful during the annual festival on the twenty-sixth of October.
