Saint Demetrios

This small and simple chapel is located in the countryside of the Municipality of Peyia in the Paphos district, being dedicated to the Holy Great Martyr Demetrios. The structure faithfully follows the plain lines of traditional Cypriot church building with white exterior masonry. The church functions as a quiet station for individual prayer and the lighting of candles by the area's residents, offering an environment of serenity away from the central residential fabric.
