Saint Demetrios

This imposing church dominates the Akropolis area in Strovolos and is one of the most vibrant spiritual centers of the capital. Its foundation was carried out at the end of the 1960s, while its completion and operation coincide with a period of rapid urban development of the area. It has an intense social, philanthropic, and catechetical work, even maintaining its own local radio station.
