Saint Elizabeth

Three kilometers south of the village lies the chapel of Saint Elizabeth, a small stone-built basilica of the 16th century, built upon an older church. It stands out for the well-preserved 16th-century wall paintings that cover its interior and for its simple architecture with a gabled tiled roof. The chapel celebrates its feast on Bright Tuesday, while nearby is the holy spring (agiasma) of Saint Elizabeth.
