Saint George

The Holy Church of Saint George is the central parish church of the mountainous village of Chandria in the Limassol district, which is built at an altitude of 1,275 meters. It is a beautiful, stone-built structure in the style of a three-aisled basilica, which is distinguished by its traditional masonry of local stone and its imposing bell tower. In the interior of the church a warm, devout atmosphere is preserved, while the space is the main religious and social point of reference for the residents of Pitsilia.
