Saint George

The picturesque chapel of Saint George the Trophy-Bearer is built to the east of Dali, very close to the archaeological site of Ancient Idalion. It is a single-aisled domed church constructed of hewn limestone blocks, which faithfully follows the structure of the neighboring church of Saint Demetrianos. In its interior survive very few traces of the authentic, old wall paintings of provincial style, which suffered significant damage due to the influx of water.
