Saint George

The Holy Church of Saint George is the central parish church in Kalo Chorio Oreinis of the Nicosia district. It is a stone-built single-aisled basilica with an impressive bell tower, built in a central spot of the community with a view of the surrounding mountains. In the interior of the church stands out the iconostasis of excellent craftsmanship, which houses precious icons and is the focal point of the spiritual and worship life of the area's residents.
