Saint George

This medieval church is built on the eastern side of the small wine-village of Limassol, surrounded by pines and vineyards. It is a plain, wooden-roofed single-aisled church, which has been erected with the classical local stone of the area. In the interior of the settlement and the church an intensely devout atmosphere is preserved, while its historic presence is inextricably connected with the tradition of the production of Commandaria by the residents.
