Saint George

This historic church is located in the heart of the mountainous village of Lemythou in the Limassol district and is an important religious monument of the area. It is a stone structure that follows the traditional architectural type of the mountainous churches of Troodos, fully harmonized with the natural environment. Its interior is adorned with a remarkable wood-carved iconostasis and old icons of great historical value. It functions as a devout space of worship that gathers the residents as well as many expatriates of the village.
