Saint George

The new central church of the village of Agios Georgios Silikou was constructed to cover the increased needs of the community. Its foundation began in 1928, but the completion and its first operation took place in 1955. It is a stone-built structure in the style of a single-aisled cruciform basilica without a dome, which is distinguished by its white interior walls and the absence of wall paintings.
