Saint George

The stone-built Church of Saint George dominates the traditional and preserved mountainous village of Vavla. It was built in 1920 and is characterized by basilica architecture with integrated Gothic elements. It is the religious center of the settlement, while it also preserves the historic icon of Panagia of Love (Panagia tis Agapis).
