Saint Irene Chrysovalantou

This small and devout chapel is the first church on the entire island dedicated to this particular Saint. Its erection is directly connected with a personal vow of a family and the birth of a child after fertility difficulties. Because of this story, the chapel attracts crowds of couples from every corner of the country who face similar problems, while the space teems with life during the annual festival at the end of July.
