Saint Irene

The Holy Church of Saint Irene is the central and historic church of the community of Timi in the Paphos district. It is a large, traditional stone structure of basilica style that dominates the center of the village, very close to the Paphos airport. The church has served through the ages all the worship needs of the area's residents, while it celebrates with every solemnity and religious reverence during the annual feast of the Holy Great Martyr Irene on the 5th of May.
