Saint Marina

The small chapel of Saint Marina is located in the Municipality of Latsia in the Nicosia district and was built in the mid-1980s upon the foundations of an older destroyed church. It is a plain, single-space structure without a women's gallery, which has a distinct bell tower eight meters high in its precinct. Owing to its limited size, the church is not used for social sacraments, while it opens its gates and officially operates only once a year, on the day of the Saint's feast in mid-July.
