Saint Mnason

This ancient chapel is the only surviving structure of an old Byzantine monastery that operated in the area. It is a small, single-aisled vaulted church, which received a significant renovation at the end of the 18th century by Archbishop Chrysanthos. In its interior survive parts of a historic wood-carved iconostasis, while the space carries the memory of the second Bishop of Ancient Tamasos.
