Saint Modestos

This plain church is a dependency (metochi) of the Holy Monastery of Stavrovouni and is built in its northeastern area. The structure is dedicated to Saint Modestos, who is considered the protector of animals in tradition. Its architectural structure is characterized by simplicity, offering a quiet space of prayer within the mountainous landscape. The little church opens for the faithful on Sundays during the divine service.
