Saint Nicholas

This is a modern, small military chapel that is located within the facilities of the Naval Base "Evangelos Florakis" in the area of the village of Mari. The church is dedicated to the protector of sailors, Saint Nicholas, and serves mainly the worship needs of the personnel of the Naval Force of Cyprus. Every year on the 6th of December, the space is the focal point of the official celebrations and the military ceremonies of the base, gathering the leadership of the National Guard and crowds of officials.
