Saint Nicholas

This historic church is the religious ornament of the mountainous community and its construction coincides chronologically with the very founding of the village. It is a single-space basilica with a characteristic wooden gabled roof, which has undergone certain architectural modifications and extensions over the passage of the centuries. In the interior of the church are kept rare Byzantine wall paintings as well as a priceless reliquary, offering a space of deep devotion for the faithful.
