Saint Sergios and Vakchos

This small, single-aisled and vaulted little church is located in the Limassol district, hidden under the shade of a centuries-old terebinth tree that exceeds eight hundred years in age. Although in the past its interior bore rich wall-painting decoration, later interventions with layers of plaster covered most of the scenes, leaving visible only a few fragments on the north wall. The church now operates rarely, being however an extremely picturesque religious monument of the Cypriot countryside.
