Saint the Forerunner

This small and devout holy chapel is located in the community of Empa in the Paphos district, being a quiet spiritual refuge for the faithful. According to local tradition, the church was built upon the remaining foundations and the ruins of a much older, ancient little chapel that was also dedicated to the Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist). The space is inextricably connected with the religious needs of the area, complementing the rich ecclesiastical heritage and the worship traditions of the community's residents.
