Saint Thekla

A few kilometers west of the city of Limassol, in the rural area neighboring the Akrotiri Salt Lake, lies the isolated chapel of Saint Thekla. This small structure is located within the Lanitis estate and was erected during the 1970s upon the ruins of an older church. It is the smallest church of the community of Asomatos, surrounded by rich crops, and reveals the strong bond of the area's residents with agriculture.
