Saints Joachim and Anna

This small and plain chapel is located in the mountainous area of the community of Alithinou in Pitsilia, built among the wild nature of Troodos. It is dedicated to the Holy Ancestors Joachim and Anna and is a quiet space of worship for the few residents and hikers of the area. Its construction follows the simple architectural models of the mountainous chapels with the use of local materials. Owing to its particularly limited dimensions and its isolated location, the church is not suitable for the celebration of weddings or baptisms.
