Saints Nomonas and Vichianos

This modern, spacious church is located in the western part of the community of Anageia in the Nicosia district, belonging to the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Oreini. It is dedicated to the Cypriot Saints Nomon and Vichianos, who are considered protectors of those suffering from spiritual illnesses. The structure was created to replace the functional use of the centuries-old old church of the village, offering greater comfort of worship. It has an imposing domed structure and is the focal point of the religious ceremonies, festivals, and social sacraments of the area.
