Small Church of Prophet Elias Giolou

This picturesque chapel is located in the community of Giolou in the Paphos district and is one of the many historic chapels that adorn the area. The church is dedicated to the Prophet Elias and is inextricably connected with the religious traditions, the vows, and the spiritual life of the local families. Every year, during the annual feast of the Prophet on the 20th of July, the space gathers the residents of the village and the faithful from the wider area, who come to honor his memory.
