Small Church of Prophet Elias

The small and isolated chapel of the Prophet Elias is built at the highest spot of the mountainous area of Pomos in the Paphos district. As is customary for the churches that are dedicated to this particular Saint, it is positioned on a privileged mountaintop that offers a panoramic view toward the forest and the sea. It is one of the many religious monuments of the community and functions mainly on the day of its feast.
