Small Church of Saint George

This small and picturesque chapel is built in the old core of Kato Polemidia, at a short distance from the large church of the same name of the community. It is a plain, single-space structure with stone masonry and a traditional tiled roof, which keeps its contemplative character intact within the urban zone. Owing to its limited size, it functions mainly as a space for individual prayer and the quiet lighting of a candle by passers-by and the inhabitants of the neighbourhood.
