Transfiguration of the Saviour

In the village of Avdimou in the Limassol district lies the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, which falls ecclesiastically under the Holy Metropolis of Paphos. The construction of this modern church was completed in 2006, while the official inauguration ceremony took place in the summer of 2007. The church is the focal point of the community's religious events, attracting crowds of faithful during its annual festive feast in August.
