Transfiguration the Saviour

The church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour is the largest in size and the most recently built church of the village of Limnatis. It is located at the northernmost edge of the settlement and dominates imposingly at the top of the hill on which the community is spread. It is an entirely stone edifice, which follows the type of the single-aisled cross-in-square basilica without a dome and has a beautiful bell tower at its south-western corner.
